AccessMED

AccessMED™ is a picture archiving communications system (PACS) solution with workflow designed specifically for the needs of non-radiology specialists, such as orthopedists and other specialists who use images to help them diagnose and treat their patients.

This medical imaging solution delivers the power of PACS, wrapped with a suite of easy-to-use viewing tools for specialists to quickly obtain the information they need for decision making. It's modular design and scalability make it suitable for small or large practices with multi-facilities. AccessMED's integration capabilities protect the facility's technology investment and streamline workflow through the practice.

AccessMED provides a simple, yet powerful transition to digital imaging, and it can be tailored to mirror the workflow of a specialist while improving the efficiency and care delivery. The flexible design of the system allows users to configure their own layout and viewing options for images, work-lists, reports, prior studies and other clinical information.

Benefits of AccessMED

  • Easily integrates with electronic medical records (EMR) systems as well as most clinic or hospital host systems because AccessMED is based on DICOM, HL7, and open standards.
  • Enables a facility to securely distribute images wherever they are needed due to AccessMED's web-based communications tools. Images can be securely distributed to other facilities, other doctor offices, and even to remote data storage facilities to archive images.
  • Distributes images to handheld devices, tablets or personal computers when integrated with Point-of-Care solutions.
  • Enables clinics and practices to save images to CDs or DVDs to improve image portability so clinicians can view images on any personal computer.
  • Provides Disc Publisher, an optional and fully integrated device that saves images to CDs or DVDs from anywhere in the facility and automatically labels the discs.
  • Provides OrthoVIEW™, an optional module that includes templates from virtually every major prosthetics manufacturer to provide clinicians with digital surgical planning capabilities.
  • Provides ImageSTITCH, another optional module that offers the tools needed to combine multiple images into a single image for review, which is especially valuable for long bone and spinal images.

OrthoVIEW is a trademarked product of Meridian Technique Ltd.

Disc Publisher is a product of Rorke Data.
